Seerr
Seerr complements the existing library: use it to discover or request missing media, track request state, and play titles after they become available in Jellyfin.
Trust and identity
Section titled “Trust and identity”Requests must use an intentional identity. Configure the administrator or caller-specific identity described by the canonical operations guide; do not silently attribute all requests to an accidental default user.
Keep Seerr credentials scoped and out of browser URLs, logs, and source control.
Configure and verify
Section titled “Configure and verify”- Confirm Jellyfin browsing and playback already work in RelayTV.
- Add the reachable Seerr URL and required credential/identity settings.
- Search for a title that is not yet available.
- Submit a request and verify the intended requesting identity.
- Confirm status updates are visible.
- For an available title, verify RelayTV validates the linked Jellyfin media before offering playback.
Seerr is a request/discovery integration, not a playback source by itself.
